Some vehicles have experienced App offline and remote control function unavailable, and Jiyue Motors has responded

On the evening of November 24th, at around 22:00, several owners of the Jiyue car reported that there was a sudden network failure, and the mobile app showed that the vehicle was in an “offline” state, which prevented users from using key functions such as remote control. That evening, the official WeChat account of Jiyue Automobile responded that the technical team had immediately activated the emergency response mechanism and made every effort to investigate and repair the problem.

Subsequently, at around 9am this morning, Jiyue Automobile responded again, stating that after overnight repairs by the technical team, the offline and remote control functions of the Jiyue App have all been restored to normal and can be used normally. The relevant issues have been fixed, and we will continue to optimize system stability to fully ensure the user’s driving experience

In fact, this is not the first time that a similar situation has occurred with Jiyue Motors. In July of this year, some car owners also reported that the Jiyue vehicle app displayed abnormal offline and remote control functions, resulting in the inability to use the Bluetooth key. At that time, Xia Yiping, CEO of Jiyue, issued a statement stating that after emergency repairs by the team, the problematic vehicle had been restored to normal.

Jiyue Automobile was founded in 2023 and is an intelligent car brand jointly launched by Geely Holding Group and Baidu. Its predecessor was Jidu Automobile. In August of that year, the “Jiyue” brand was officially launched, positioned as a high-end intelligent automotive robot brand under Geely Holding.

The announcement released by Jiyue Automobile in July this year regarding the software services and after-sales warranty scope of Jiyue car infotainment systems stated that vehicles sold through normal sales channels of Jiyue Automobile can enjoy normal infotainment services to ensure the stable operation of the infotainment system, and can also enjoy vehicle warranty services in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations. Vehicles sold through authorized sales channels of Jiyue Automobile only provide car software services, and after-sales service is provided by the sales party.

At the same time, for stolen vehicles, scrapped vehicles, and overseas sales vehicles in cross-border circulation, there is a significant lack of provision for vehicle software services and after-sales warranty.
